CARING FOR YOUR WRAP SKIRT

We cannot guarantee colour fastness of these delicate fabrics - if you need to wash them please do so by hand in cool water and not by any other means. If you need to iron them please iron on coolest setting. These skirts are best protected when not in use by keeping them in their drawstring bag.

Please ensure that you don't put them near to any sharp or abrasive objects as the delicate fabrics are likely to snag and spoil. Keep all fabrics away from heat and flames.

CARING FOR YOUR TUTU

Please treat your tutu with love and respect! They are not to be washed not dry cleaned due to the way in which they are constructed (with metal hoops, jewels, glued items, delicate fabrics etc). If soiled they may be gently surface cleaned with care. Body odours can be tricky to eliminate so take care to make the body as clean and odour free as possible.  Take special care when stepping in and out of your tutu so that you do not put strain on the vulnerable openings, and get someone to help you to fasten and unfasten the bodice and basque. We do our best to ensure that all decorations are securely fixed to your costume. In practice, especially if used in partnering work, some decorations will inevitably dislodge or spoil. Repair any fabric damages as soon as they occur to prevent them from worsening. For general maintenance: check the underside of the tutu regularly to replace any stringing which has broken or loosened and check that all fastenings are secure before each performance.  Store your pancake tutu flat to help to preserve its shape (over time the tutu skirt may need re-hooping or restringing). If possible keep it well aired, but gently covered to stop dust from settling on it. If you are travelling by air, contact the airline before you fly to ensure that your tutu travels well and is not placed in the baggage hold.

Keep your tutu away from sunlight to avoid fading of colours. Keep all fabrics away from heat and flames.
